The internship programme in the Brussels office of GEF offers the possibility to gain insight into the activities of a political foundation on European level, cooperating with European organisations as well as with national Green political foundations all over Europe.
The Green European Foundation is currently seeking a full-time intern to work primarily on the Green European Journal. The intern will assist the Editor in chief and Deputy editor with the editorial tasks linked to the publication.
The Green European Foundation offers a full-time (38h) post on a “convention d’immersion professionelle” (Belgian paid internship contract) with limited duration (9 to 12 months, to be discussed), in an open, positive and engaging working atmosphere in an international environment.
Key tasks include liaising with partners, maintaining the GEJ website, promoting the GEJ through its social media channels and proofreading and editing texts for the website and quarterly editions.
To be eligible, applicants should have a native speaker level of English (Additional languages are an asset), experience with social media and communications, and have a general interest in Green issues and EU affairs.
