Polish anti-nuclear seminar: towards green energy
GEF, in cooperation with the Polish Green Institute and Heinrich Boell Stiftung (Warsaw), are organising a series of workshops on opposing nuclear power, and how green activists can promote Green energy solutions. The first workshop takes place on April 28th in Krokowa.

Even after Chernobyl and Fukushima, the debate over nuclear energy continues in Poland. Despite high costs and environmental concerns, the Polish Government is continuing with plans to construct a nuclear power plant in Poland. Additionally, the Polish Government has been one of the strongest opponents of green energy at European level.

This series of workshops aims to bring together green activists to discuss the negative aspects of nuclear energy, and to debate how green energy can be promoted within the Polish energy debate. This Saturday's event is the first in a series of workshops, further details of which will be forthcoming.
