The rise of right-wing populism in Finland is not an isolated phenomenon but part of a larger development on a European scale. Recently, however, right-wing populist parties have lost support in countries such as Denmark. In this seminar, researchers and specialists from different countries explore the reasons behind, and the consequences of, this phenomenon. What were the driving forces behind the rise of right-wing populism and how has the political landscape changed with and through it? Are populist parties here to stay?
