GEF launch annual report 2011
GEF has launched its annual report for 2011, which details GEF's work across Europe last year. As well as publishing a range of reports and studies, GEF also organised events across Europe, demonstrating its commitment to reaching out to EU citizens and Green activists beyond Brussels. This fits with GEF's core objective of 'Europeanising' key green debates and encouraging citizens to engage in European debate.
With 13 publications in 14 languages, and with 41 events in 32 cities, 2011 proved to be GEF's most successful year since its foundation in 2008. A number of key projects were launched, including the Green European Journal and the Green New Deal website, and work on projects such as the European Citizens' Initiative were expanded.
All GEF's work was made possible through cooperation with our national partners, as well as our partners at European level - Green members of the European Parliament and the European Green Party.
GEF will continue to be ambitious in its range of projects, and you can follow all our work in 2012 on Facebook, twitter or sign up to our newsletter at the bottom of this page.
