The upcoming Green Salon will tackle the issue of environmental mobility and displacement due to climate change. In a sheltered space, Greens, academics, NGO and think tank representatives will critically explore the topic and explore answers to the challenges at hand.
A Green Vision for Human Mobility in a Climate Change World
This third edition of the Green Salon – A Green Vision for Human Mobility in a Climate Change World – will take place in Brussels on 20 January 2020.
It is an invitation-only event that addressed Greens from the European and national level as well as independent experts and thinkers from across Europe to come together and feed into the debate with their expertise and assist Greens in discussion and fine-tuning their ideas and positions.
Format
Following input by experts and food for thought on the current state of play and debates around Environmental Mobility, the invitees will be able to engage in discussions based on a draft vision paper.
The Green Salon Series
The past two editions addressed the Future of European Defense (October 2017, Brussels) and the Future of Work as well as the impact of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (February 2018, Vienna).
