About the event

The coronavirus epidemic is a political and economic event, forcing us to make a decision about who we want to be as a society. Europe, to survive as a civilizational, moral and political project, cannot agree to sacrificing people for the supposed good of the economy. We need systemic changes that will allow people to survive a slower lifestyle. This event will explore the non-partisan  initiative, “Europe, a Patient”, which has been launched as a response to this challenge by citizens. The aim is to motivate the EU leaders to fight the coronavirus crisis through bold and solidary economic action to protect European workers, small entrepreneurs and public healthcare.
