Event type: In-Person
Description:
This year’s COP was dubbed the ‘most inclusive’ by its organisers. But countless communities, mainly from the Global South and indigenous communities, aren’t able to join and have their voices heard. Environmental and climate policy cannot be made without justice in mind and it cannot be done without the people climate change affects the most at the center.
But what does climate action have to do with racism? How do social inequalities worsen the impacts from the climate emergency, pollution and environmental destruction? And how can we make sure Europe’s green policy does better? Join us for a workshop hosted by Equinox Racial Justice to talk about what it means and what we can do!
