In 2019, Scottish Greens co-leader Lorna Slater MSP visited Antartica as part of an international delegation of women who took part in the Homeward Bound project to promote collaborative leadership and sustainability.  

Lorna Slater will be joined by other women who took part for a roundtable discussion on the central role of women in tackling the climate crisis.   

The event will include inspiring contributions from women around the world, including Dr Marji Puotinen from the Australian Institute of Marine Science and others on the frontline of pushing for ecological change and sustainability.
