SUMMARY:European Green Activist Training (Hungary)
DESCRIPTION:About European Green Activist Training (EGAT)\nDuring the EGAT course\, you will learn about Green values\, meet politicians and experts working at the frontline of fighting for positive change\, and of course connect with plenty of other like-minded young people! \nThe course will give you insights into the political decision-making processes on the national and European levels\, develop your skills as an activist to enact societal change\, and explore how Green values promote more equal and sustainable societies. \nMore specifically\, the training course is comprised of two intense training weekends taking place in Hungary\, an online course on Green Learning \, and culminating in a one-week study trip to Brussels to visit the European Institutions alongside EGAT participants from other countries. \nWe encourage people from across Hungary and from all backgrounds to apply to take part. \nFind out more about EGAT on the EGAT project page.  \nProgramme\nThe exact details of the programme are to be confirmed\, please check back later for more information.  \nFirst Meeting   \n\n21 September 2019\n10:00 – 18:00\,  in Budapest\n\nSecond Meeting \n\n25 – 27 October  2019\n\nBrussels Study Trip \n\nEarly March 2020 (exact dates TBC)\n\nPracticalities \nThe EGAT course is free of charge\, excluding travel to Budapest and to the airport. \nAll materials\, travel (including flights) and accomodation costs in Brussels are covered by the Green European Foundation\, on the assumption that the participant has successfully completed the national training sessions in Hungary. \nHow to Apply\nApplicants must be 18-26 years old. SUMMARY:Call for Applications: Green Activist Training in Hungary
DESCRIPTION:This event is a part of our Europeanising Green Activist Training project\, which offers educational opportunities from young people in Hungary\, Catalonia\, Czech Republic and Finland. This project aspires to provide young people with enhanced knowledge of European politics and improved practical skills\, such as negotiation and networking. As a transnational project\, it is organised in two steps\, starting with a local training with our partners and ending with a joint study trip to Brussels\, where all participants get to meet\, exchange ideas and visit relevant institutions. \nThe first call for application this year is in Hungary! We invite all young Hungarians\, between 16-30 years old\, who are interested in activism and European politics to apply for a stimulating training organised with the help of Ökopolisz. This training series will happen throughout the fall 2016 – on 1st and 29th of October and the 12th of November. The training will be finalised with a joint study visit to Brussels\, which will be held in February 2017. \nTo apply\, please follow this link. Deadline is the 12th of September.  Good luck!
