There’s no way around it. Sustainability is an extremely urgent and universal concern. On 11th January 2022 we will discuss the 6th of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which aims to ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all.

About the event

The Green European Foundation with the support of Ecopolis Foundation is holding a full-day conference on 6th of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a universal call to action for a fair and sustainable world for all. The focus of the conference will be on clean water and basic sanitation, and we’ve invited a high-class panel from all over Hungary to discuss this topic. After the event, we will publish a report summarising the content in the next volume of Ecopolis SDG series.

Context

The Ecopolis Foundation has launched a series of conferences and publications examining the possibilities of implementing the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Hungary. SDGs follow the idea that environmental, social and economic problems can only be successfully addressed systematically. The previous five goals are – eradicating poverty, eradicating hunger, health and well-being for all, quality education, gender equality. Publications on each topic are available here.
