If you are or wish to become a green activist and learn more about the European Union and its institutions, this programme is for you!

About the event

We are looking for 15 young people (18-25 years old) who want to be agents of change towards a more sustainable, supportive and fair society.

We are offering an opportunity for you to participate in a training program for young European green activists, or aspiring ones. As part of this training we will deal with the pillars of political ecology, European values and the possibilities that European institutions offer in terms of green  policies for the European community.

This edition is focused on rethinking our life models and exploring the alternatives promoted by European green political ecology under the title “An(other) way of living”.

You will learn how European institutions work and how things can be changed from politics, from values of social, ecological and feminist justice. You will also meet other activists, with whom you will share your struggles and experiences. You will be able to go to Brussels to meet key actors from European institutions and civil society as well as the other participating people from 6 other countries (Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Greece and Finland).

Programme

The training consists of two training seminars, lasting one weekend (Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon). Each of the seminars will have a specific theme based on the values of European green policy and intercommunity social justice.

We will engage with people who fight for the planet from a political background, and expert people who will offer their vision. In small groups, you will delve deeper into the concepts and techniques to achieve the change we want.
