Green Political Activists Training (Balatonfenyves)
2023
2023
Join us in Hungary for this year’s Green Political Activists Training and get inspired by green experts and like-minded individuals.
About the event
Are you interested in the environmental challenges faced in Hungary and in Europe? This summer camp will explore how to mobilise citizens and get organized to overcome these issues in an interactive way, and with the support of various experts.
As part of the training, participants will also have the opportunity to reflect on individual responsibilities, engage in green workshops and receive inputs and advice from EU actors especially tailored to them.
And last but not least, participants will also have time to network and meet other like-minded young green activists.
Project background
This event is part of the Green European Foundation’s Green Political Activist Training Project for which we put together a series of training courses and seminars aiming to help participants understand the concepts of political ecology and apply them to both local and European-level politics.
In this summer university, we will examine policies in place and policy proposals on various levels, such as local currents or the European Green Deal. Our goal is to prepare participants for both assessing and advocating policies in line with progressive green values.
The ultimate purpose of the training is to offer young green activists new tools and knowledge and an opportunity to network and get in contact with political actors and experts on multiple levels to come together as a political community. It is essential for us to help like-minded movements and actors connect to make the political ecosystem flourish.
