Are you a Brussels-based nonprofit focused on sustainability? Want to meet likeminded people are organisations? Or would you like to discover some sustainability-related initiatives in Brussels?

About the event

In collaboration with the MitOst Festival, the Green European Foundation is organising a networking event for international sustainability nonprofits based in Brussels. This hybrid event will be an exciting opportunity to raise awareness about some of GEF’s sustainability projects and best-practices on the international scene in the Belgian capital, while also engaging in cultural and civic exchanges with people and organisations from across Europe.

On Friday evening, starting at 18h, we will hold an informal get together with people from the sustainability-related international community in Brussels as well a fun international quiz night.

On Saturday, we will continue our informal exchanges and community building in the morning, followed by a walking tour of sustainable local initiatives in Brussels in the early afternoon. We will visit urban farms, zero waste shops and circular economy start-ups and have the opportunity to have in-depth discussions with their initiators.

At the end of the tour, we will have presentations of sustainability-related initiatives, including from our project partner Etopia.
