Description: Join us for a film screening and lively debate on the documentary Hope Dies Last. We will be joined by youth activists from different cities in Poland including one of those featured in the documentary.


  • Domnika Lasota, Fridays For Future Poland (MSK) 

Dominika Lasota is a 20-year-old climate justice & anti-war activist from Poland. She is an active organiser in the global climate movement – Fridays For Future – fighting for the just transition in Eastern Europe. Since the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine, she has been one of the leading voices in the campaign towards the complete European embargo on Russian fossil fuels. Her efforts have been marked by Politico, the Guardian & New York Times.


  •  Kacper Lubiewski, Fridays For Future Poland (MSK) 

Kacper Max Lubiewski is a youth climate activist who has been actively co-creating Fridays For Future Mobement in Poland. After setting up an activist group in his native Opole in spring of 2019, he went on to organise several street protests, occupations and blockades and developed cooperation with actors such as Krytyka Polityczna, Campaign against Homophobia and JCC Krakow. In his activism, Kacper focuses on intersectional approach, direct outreach and facilitating climate education. Recently associated with Shipyard Foundation and Collective Wolvines.


  • Lena Anna Kuklińska, Ostra Zieleń

Co-chair of the Polish Young Greens and a regional group of the Polish Greens. Transnational law student specialising in the legal interrelation of innovation, environmental protection and animal rights. Trainee at the European Parliament and the European Centre for Certification and Privacy.
