Treasure Hunt (Varaždin)

Event Background

In the framework of the Idea Challenge, the Green European Foundation invited young people aged 16 – 24 from Croatia, Czechia and Portugal to submit their ideas which aims to make their own neighborhood or a local community more open, democratic, inclusive, and ultimately European. 3 winner ideas from the three countries were selected and are now on the way of implementing their projects.

About the event

Matej and Katja are students at the Varaždin high school. They are organising a treasure hunt for young residents of the city – connecting various landmarks with European topics, as well as embedding interesting facts about the EU, within the context of Varaždin history and culture. Varaždin is preparing to be the candidate city for the European Youth Capital 2022.
