Call for tenders: Hotel Collaboration

About the Green European Foundation 

The Green European Foundation (GEF) is a European-level political foundation funded by the European Parliament. GEF is affiliated to but independent from the European Green Party and Green movement in Europe. Our mission is to encourage European citizens to participate in European political discussions and in particular when it comes to envisioning what a Green Europe would look like. As a forum for cooperation at the European level, we work closely with our national member foundations and thereby aim to strengthen the Green political movement and green ideas in Europe. 

Purpose of Tender 

Our organization is currently seeking a partner hotel, or a pool of partner hotels, to accommodate guests and participants during GEF’s events in Brussels. 

Scope 

The selected hotel(s) will be contracted with the Green European Foundation’s accommodation needs for the year 2024, with the possibility to renew the collaboration for up to 5 years. A flat rate or particularly advantageous rates for periods and volumes that could be the ones listed in this sheet – but that are not confirmed definitively at this stage, shall be offered. GEF understands that the offer might change relatively to modifications in the actual booking, in case these latter do not reflect this initial overview. GEF reserves the right to allocate the hotel nights volumes in the present tender to one or more hotels and to change the dates and volumes presented at this stage. 

Mission 

The GEF partner hotel(s) shall provide the best quality per price for the accommodation needs of the Green European Foundation’s partners and guests.  

 

Selection Criteria  

• The hotel’s proximity to public transportation; 
• The hotel’s adherence to sustainability principles in regards to fair working conditions, food procurement and waste, energy procurement and use, and waste management. Disclosing an environmental and social report represents an asset; 
• The hotel’s proximity to our office located at Avenue des Arts 7-8; 
• The hotel’s capacity for groups of up to 50 people; 
• The hotel’s cancellation policy. 

By submitting this offer to the Green European Foundation’s Call for Hotel Collaborations, the applicant guarantees its validity and prices for the next six months. 

How to Apply 

The applicants are invited to submit an offer comprising: 

• Their prices and cancelation policy for the volumes and dates presented by the Green European Foundation, by downloading, filling in and uploading the Offer Sheet to this application form. 
• They shall include in the template information on their location as well as on their sustainability practices- with a preference for a complete social and environmental report. 

Application without these elements will not be considered. Applicants will be contacted once all eligible submissions have been reviewed.  

Practical Information 

All offers should be submitted by 29 February 2024, at 23h59  via the application form.
