The EcoTanoda EU+ program is a participatory series of educational, organizational and community development trainings.
We are looking for young people between 18 and 26 who have  (minimum) an intermediate level of English, who are interested in European affairs but at the same time have a mindset that is close to sustainability and green politics.

About the event

Participants will take part in a 3-day training from October 8th-10th, 2021.
The following session will be in January 2022 (a Saturday in Budapest) and finally,  a study trip to Brussels during the spring of 2022 – all for free!
Those who fill in the application form and receive a written confirmation after the application deadline are eligible.
In case of over-application, the applicants will be pre-screened, due to the number limit .We can provide a place for 20 applicants.

Context

Participants will learn about the history, principles, and challenges of the green movement from researchers, politicians, and NGO representatives. We will examine the Green political map and the main social, economic, and political actors involved in it.
From a practical point of view, we examine what types of actions we need for ecopolitics to gain more space in the 21st century. We will heavily focus on Europe, the EU institutions, actors, history, and current affairs, which reflect the political composition of the European Parliament and the functioning and strategy of the European Commission.
The other important aspect of the training is for the participants to get to know each other and share their knowledge experiences.
