In this installment of the Green Post-Corona Talks Poland we welcome Łukasz Dudzic, a Green local councilor in the rural commune of Bobrowice in the Lubuskie voivodship, located a few kilometers from the Oder River and the German border.

We will talk about how the rural commune lives in these difficult Covid times. We will learn about the challenges that the commune has faced before and how Covid has influenced or will affect the commune’s affairs in the long term.

Context:

This event is part of the Green Post-Corona Talks Poland, a series of participatory online talks with inspiring guests offering an analysis on what is at stake in this crisis and what positive ideas and concepts there are for a green post-corona vision

About the Event:

With Łukasz, we will embed the challenges in a broader regional, national and European context. We will find out how residents relate to environmental and climate threats, whether the local government is concerned with the European Green Deal, if the new EU Common Agricultural Policy will give a chance for a change in local agriculture. We will also comment on how the attacks by the ruling party on the LGBT+ community and women’s reproductive rights are perceived in the commune of less than 3500 inhabitants.
