About

The Just Transition is a term use to refer to the transition towards a climate-neutral economy happening in a fair way, leaving no one behind.

This transnational project  understands the Just Transition as a way of transforming from an extractive to a regenerative economy in a just and equitable way with the necessary support among the population. It seeks to show that the green family, is a leading actor in the development of futureproof politics and policies, carried out in a sensitive way that keeps in mind local specificities

We are working alongside our project partners in conducting research on the Just Transition. Our efforts are directed to connect with relevant European and national actors to build a network interested in working towards a fair TransitionIn the course of the project, the partners have implemented different activities in their countries to increase awareness of the importance of a Just Transition all over Europe. As part of our research we published the Just Transition framing paper that you can see below and we will compile a book on the subject to be published in Spring 2022.
